Eating Mindfully Part 1 of 2
What is eating mindfully? Well, it's eating. Mindfully. Instead of zoning out and shoveling food in your face while watching TV or a movie, or in front of the computer, or at a party, it's being aware of what you're eating, how fast you're eating, and how it tastes.
Think about reality shows like Masterchef or Top Chef. Think about how the judges take a slow, savoring bite of the food to REALLY taste it. That's what your meals should look like (but with less Gordon Ramsey-type gushing/screeching).
Yoga has been clinically proven to help people move through life more mindfully, and that includes eating. So yoga is definitely a way to learn how to eat more mindfully.
